In 2009, PT KHI received a mega-project for the Bojonegara-Serpong Gas Distribution Pipeline of 73,020 m (13,651 Ton) with the specifications of the DSAW Spiral Welded Pipe, API 5L X-65, size 24 “OD x 0.500” m (12.7 mm) WT x DRL. This project is divided into 3 milestones, where currently KHI has completed 2 milestones according to the agreed contract. All of these pipes will be coated with 3-layer Polyethylene (3-LPE) for External Coating and Epoxy for Internal Coating. This pipe will be used as a distribution pipe for gas to be installed between Bojonegara-Serpong. The pipe that has been coated will be stored in a temporary stockpile of 38,000 sqm because the pipe installation will be carried out in 2010.
