Participating in the fulfillment of clean water supply on Sumatra Island, Krakatau Pipe supplies pipes for construction needs on the Main Distribution Network (JDU) of the SPAM Mebidang Development Project with a total of more than 9,000 tons. The pipe with the AWWA C200 specification belongs to KSO PT Brantas Abipraya – PT Hutama Karya which was appointed as the main contractor in the construction of the SPAM.
Krakatau Pipe Commissioner Asroru Maula, Krakatau Pipe President Director Utomo Nugroho and Commercial Director Denny Prasetya had the opportunity to visit the Regional SPAM Project for Medan City, Binjai City and Deliserdang Regency (Mebidang) in mid-November.
The SPAM Mebidang Project, which is targeted for completion in 2022, will significantly increase the clean water capacity for Me Field up to 1,100 liters/second.
